So here we are! 6 years in the making and we’ve finally secured our wedding venue.
We went through a long list of venues after we decided to keep our wedding in Orlando, and just couldn’t find our sweet spot. Our event planner, Kristen Johnson, had been trying to get us to check out the Hilton Orlando for months, and we finally gave in. I had worked there before and knew it was a great venue – I just wasn’t sure if it was OUR venue. After meeting with Teresa (catering manager), we realized it was the perfect place for our guests to enjoy a resort destination getaway while celebrating in sunny Florida!
The Hilton Orlando will be perfect for everyone visiting from out of state (and our guests coming from afar, like Australia!) because it’s so close to everything! And since we live about 45 minutes north and never visit this part of town, it will have it’s own little destination feel for us.
I think we’re most excited about everyone who’s planning to come down for the wedding! It’s been so long since we’ve been able to see much of our family and friends – this will be the perfect opportunity to bring everyone together to celebrate!
