Aside from the most-asked question, “Who will be shooting YOUR wedding??”, our second most-asked question is what our design concept will be! Quite possibly the thing I’ve changed the most since getting engaged 6 years ago, we went from woodsy Napa Valley, to a destination wedding in Paris, to a family affair in Ohio and then back to our home in Orlando. We realized that we’re classic and glitzy, so we decided on the concept “City Lights and Starry Nights”.

My Pinterest board is loaded with amazing colors ranging from Navy, amethyst, gunmetal, mint and rose-gold and accented by lots of metallic details.

The event will be black-tie optional so we’re excited to see everyone get dressed up!

Nothing is more fun for us around holiday time than a gorgeous, sparkly party – so we’re wanting to channel that feeling and bring it to our wedding!

I’m meeting with my designer, Kristen Johnson from An Affair to Remember, tonight to go over some of the details – and I can’t wait to see how she brings our dream to life!
